Basic training

This is a great start for a group or team who are looking to learn more about the media industry and what news is.

  • Statistics and data – how to get the figures across

  • Press conference interviewing and management

  • How to interview well; advanced tips and tricks

Advanced and one-on-one training

This is often useful if there is a particular issue that needs to be addressed publicly or a  spokesperson who may benefit from some personalised training.

Topics include:

  • Refining your message

  • Body language says it all

  • One interview, many pieces – preparing for todays multimedia world

  • Off the record, pros, cons and traps

  • Contentious comments and the hard questions

  • How to manipulate the next question

  • Developing style and presence

  • Practice interviews with audio and/or video recordings and personal feedback

  • Ongoing support and advice through a crisis
